Your bow needs rehairing if the hairs are worn or dirty. Before rehairing I will clean your bow and replace the pugs that hold the hair in place. If necessary, I can renew the leather and silver wire to make your bow look like new.

Beware of carpet beetles! Every now and then a customer will come in with a surprise bow: lots of hairs "broken" at similar lengths. This is usually the work of carpet beetles. They like dark places and natural hair. If you find this you should disinfect your case and bring the bow in for new hairs. Please leave the beetles at home...
